Audrey Fléchet è nata a Parigi nel 1977. Interessata all'arte della scultura fin da piccola, è durante un corso di formazione con la scultrice Renée Bossaert che scopre la sua vocazione e decide di dedicarsi alla scultura all'età di 17 anni. Si è formata con diversi maestri di scultura a Parigi, ha imparato la tecnica del calco con Christophe Gottini al Museo Nazionale di Storia Naturale, un luogo prestigioso dove ha anche imparato a perfezionare la tecnica di taglio delle pietre fini: la glittica, con Eric Gonthier della galleria di mineralogia. In seguito, la tecnica di fusione del bronzo a cera persa ha attirato la sua attenzione e il suo apprendistato si è svolto presso la fonderia d'arte di Frédéric Ducros, a Parigi. Da più di venticinque anni sviluppa e affina il suo stile: figurativo, conservando l'espressione e l'emozione delle sue figure con una preoccupazione per l'accuratezza anatomica, cercando di esasperare le proporzioni in uno stile decisamente moderno. Questa formazione nell'ambiente artistico parigino, nei laboratori di lavoro su modelli vivi, diventa un'arte di vivere, una descrizione dell'umanità nelle sue gioie e nei suoi dolori, nelle sue luci e nelle sue ombre. Dall'età di 19 anni lavora nel suo studio, alternando mostre e periodi creativi. Oggi questo laboratorio è anche una fonderia d'arte, situata nella campagna della regione del Berry, un luogo favorevole all'ispirazione. Si dedica interamente alla sua attività di scultrice di fonderia. Ha progettato e costruito il suo forno tradizionale a carbone, sviluppando una tecnica per ottenere le sue opere in bronzo; stuntwoman nell'animo, produce solo pezzi unici. Questo insolito processo creativo rende il lavoro più pericoloso ed emozionante. E anche più prezioso. Dando una vita e una storia propria a ogni creazione, nata nel fuoco, perenne.
Audrey Fléchet was born in Paris in 1977. Interested in the art of sculpture from an early age, it was during a training course with sculptor Renée Bossaert that she discovered her vocation and decided to devote herself to sculpture at the age of 17. She trained with several sculpture masters in Paris, learnt the cast technique with Christophe Gottini at the National Museum of Natural History, a prestigious place where she also learnt to perfect the technique of cutting fine stones: glyptics, with Eric Gonthier of the Mineralogy Gallery. Later, the lost-wax bronze casting technique caught his attention and his apprenticeship took place at Frédéric Ducros' art foundry in Paris. For more than twenty-five years, he has been developing and refining his style: figurative, preserving the expression and emotion of his figures with a concern for anatomical accuracy, trying to exaggerate the proportions in a resolutely modern style. This training in the Parisian artistic environment, in workshops where he worked on living models, became an art of living, a description of humanity in its joys and sorrows, its lights and shadows. Since the age of 19, he has worked in his studio, alternating between exhibitions and creative periods. Today, this workshop is also an art foundry, located in the countryside of the Berry region, a place favourable to inspiration. She devotes herself entirely to her work as a foundry sculptor. She designed and built her own traditional charcoal kiln and developed a technique to obtain her bronze works; stuntwoman at heart, she only produces one-off pieces. This unusual creative process makes the work more dangerous and exciting. And also more valuable. Giving a life and a story of its own to each creation, born in the fire, everlasting.Gian Guido Grassi was born on 1 January 1967 in Turin, the city where he lives with his family. He links past and present to the city, in the memory of a childhood rich in affection: a mother who was his constant reference point and an artist father, endowed with remarkable talent combined with energetic awareness. He was his first absolute mentor.
