Lorenzo Bicci nasce a Pisa il 26 marzo 1969. Sin dalla tenera età si dedica con passione al disegno. Frequenta l'istituto statale d'arte di Cascina dove consegue il diploma. Nel 1993 inaugura la sua prima mostra personale (a Pontedera, Pisa). Ne seguiranno altre, tra collettive e personali. Lo scopo delle sue opere non è mai quello didascalico, spiegare o raccontare, imporre una visione del mondo. È al contrario offrire un mondo parallelo nel quale si possa entrare e abitare e che si conferma puro e primitivo attraverso l'assenza di figure umane.

Lorenzo Bicci was born in Pisa on March 26, 1969. From an early age he was passionately devoted to drawing. He attended the state institute of art in Cascina, where he received his diploma. In 1993 he inaugurated his first solo exhibition (in Pontedera, Pisa). Others followed, including group and solo shows. The purpose of his works is never didactic, explaining or telling, imposing a worldview. It is, on the contrary, to offer a parallel world that one can enter and inhabit and that is confirmed as pure and primitive through the absence of human figures.
