Severino Del Bono è nato a Nuvolera (Brescia) nel 1966. Cresciuto in un ambito familiare dove in casa si respira l’arte, collegata al concetto di bello, con una particolare attenzione ad un’indagine espressiva che ritornerà nei suoi dipinti. È molto legato al fratello maggiore, pittore amatoriale, che lo inizia alla pittura in maniera quasi giocosa. La forza e l’intensità dei volti umani sono i campi di ricerca di Del Bono, sulle tele si fissano alterazioni e lievi deformazioni di visi in primo piano che cercano di indagare le emozioni creando una sorta di monologo interiore silenzioso e solitario.

Severino Del Bono was born in Nuvolera (Brescia) in 1966. He grew up in a family environment where art, linked to the concept of beauty, was in the home, with a particular focus on an expressive investigation that would return in his paintings. He is very close to his older brother, an amateur painter, who initiates him into painting in an almost playful way. The strength and intensity of human faces are Del Bono's fields of research, on the canvases he fixes alterations and slight deformations of faces in the foreground that seek to investigate emotions, creating a kind of silent and solitary inner monologue.
